So this was my first year in a neighborhood so I was super excited to have trick or treaters! I wanted to have some decorations outside for them so it wasn't just a bleh house. I, of course, found ideas on pinterest, because pinterest has everything.
I used some toilet paper, saved up the rolls and got to work. I just improvised and didn't use a template like the link shows but it came out pretty well...until I put them in the bushes. I had the long bracelet/necklace glow sticks and didn't have time to go out and get the regular ones because as usual I did this last minute. So I wrapped the glow sticks in half and squeezed them in the toilet roll. It ended up working well because they didn't fall out but new glowsticks would have been brighter and may have made the eyes brighter.
This picture came out better, but since trick or treaters come out at dusk it didn't fulfill the purpose. BUT they look pretty scary in the picture do they not! Plus my stupid bushes have branches way to tight or way to flimsy so it was super hard finding a spot to put them in.
I'm not sure if this is a score for Pinterest or me, but we'll call it a draw.
